Why Choose Strong Family Law?
Family law cases often involve more than forms, filings, and court dates. They can involve fear, conflict, trauma, child safety concerns, difficult communication, and the need to stay organized while making important decisions about your future.
Strong Family Law provides compassionate, trauma-informed representation designed around the full reality of your situation. We help clients understand their options, prepare for the legal process, and build a strategy that may involve divorce, custody, child support, protection concerns, enforcement, child protection, or crime victim support.
Added Support for Protective Parents
FREEDOM Navigator | Basecamp
Family law cases involving custody, abuse, or coercive control often require more than legal paperwork. Protective parents may also need support staying organized, communicating carefully, documenting concerns, and remaining steady through a stressful court process.
This added resource can help clients better understand patterns, prepare documentation, think through communication, and stay grounded while Strong Family Law handles the legal strategy. For parents trying to protect their children while moving through divorce, custody, or post-order conflict, Basecamp offers practical support alongside the legal guidance provided by our office.
We are pleased to offer FREEDOM Navigator, a trauma-informed coaching program specifically for protective parents. Strong Family Law offers their BASECAMP group-coaching support free of charge. BASECAMP includes:
• Weekly COMPASS Clinic strategy groups
• Step-by-step communication guidance
• Templates to help you track incidents and organize documentation
• Practical tools to stay calm, organized, and credible in court
Is It Abuse?
Abuse is not always easy to recognize, especially when it does not leave visible marks. It can appear as control, intimidation, threats, isolation, financial restriction, spiritual manipulation, sexual coercion, or repeated behavior that makes you feel unsafe, trapped, or unable to make your own decisions.
You may want to consider speaking with legal counsel if your relationship involves fear, ongoing manipulation, threats involving your children, pressure to stay silent, restricted access to money or transportation, monitoring of your phone or location, or a pattern of behavior that makes it difficult to leave safely. These concerns can affect divorce, custody, protection orders, child support, and other family law matters.
At Strong Family Law, we help clients understand their options with compassion, discretion, and a safety-focused approach. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out. If something feels wrong, a confidential consultation can help you better understand what protections may be available and what next steps may be appropriate.
